ABOUT US

Nygrens Café got its name from the old grocery store that was once in the same courtyard.

The building has been carefully renovated and the tiled walls, valvet sofas and Crystal chandeliers gives the café a delightfully cosy feel. When the weather allows, the pretty cobbled courtyard becomes a popular place to fika in, where customers linger to enjoy the homebaked bread and cakes, soaking up the historical surroundings of the former store that once also housed an eighteenth

century coaching inn.

Organic coffee beans are freshly ground for each customer and you can enjoy both  espresso and cappuccino as well as filter coffee. Tea drinkers have a wide choice of different

red, green and black teas.

The Philosophy of the café is that the conscience takes part in deciding what to buy. All the eggs that are used are organic and from chickens spending their time outside, the flour is organic as well and produced att a nearby mill. All chocolate, in both the cakes and drink is of course organic too, and also produced in Sweden.
